Synopsis – Kinoko Inu:

We follow the daily life of Hotaru Yuyami, a children's book author, who is deeply depressed by the tragic loss of his beloved dog, Hanako. Her dark days take an unexpected turn when a strange pink mushroom, discovered by an eccentric mycology researcher, transforms into an adorable dog!

With the help of his caring editor and this mysterious mushroom dog, Hotaru begins to find the light and meaning of life.
