Shibou Yuugi by Meshi wo Kuu adapted into anime

Fans of psychological thrillers and survival games, rejoice! The anime adaptation of the light novel Shibou Yuugi by Meshi wo Kuu (Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table) by UKAI Yuushi has been officially announced by the publisher Kadokawa. The novel follows the macabre daily life of Yuuki, a professional death-game player.

Yuuki wakes up dressed in a servant's uniform in a foreign mansion. While exploring the place, she discovers five other young girls, all dressed in the same way. They quickly learn that the mansion is full of deadly weapons and traps, each more dangerous than the last. The only way out: to participate in a macabre game where survival is put to the test. But Yuuki is no novice in this world of terror. A professional in death games, she lives off the prizes she wins by emerging victorious from these bloody competitions.
