Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 4 Anime, Announced

Publisher TO Books has revealed the production of the anime Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 4 (Honzuki no Gekokujou Season 4) for broadcast in 2026.

Based on the light novel Ascendance of a Bookworm Part 3: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke, the anime series is scheduled for release in 2026 and Wit Studio (Spy x Family, Great Pretender, Kizuna no Allele) will replace the studio Ajia-do Animation Works.

Synopsis – Ascendance of a Bookworm

We follow Myne, a young girl with a passion for books reincarnated in a medieval world. Adopted by a wealthy archduke, she must navigate the intrigues of the nobles while pursuing her dream of making books accessible to all.
