The Classroom of the Elite anime promises to dive even deeper into the intricate storylines of the Koudo Ikusei Academy, covering the first semester of Classroom of the Elite: Year 2.

Classroom of the Elite anime synopsis (Season 1)

The prestigious Koudo Ikusei High School is at the cutting edge of technology where almost 100% of students then go on to university or find a job.

The students have a large amount of freedom, but the truth is that only the elite of the students receive favorable treatment.

We follow the daily life of Kiyotaka Ayanokoji who is part of the D Class, which is the one in which the school puts the so-called "inferior" students in order to ridicule them.

Kiyotaka Ayanokoji was careless in his entrance exams and ended up in Class D. In this atypical class, he became friends with Suzune Horikita and Kikyo Kushida.

The manga Classroom of the Elite (Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e) by Kinugasa Shougo (script) and Ichino Yuyu (art) began in 2016 at Media Factory and currently has 12 hardcover volumes.

The novel Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e (Classroom of the Elite) by Kinugasa Shougo debuted in 2015 at Media Factory and has a total of 11 bound volumes in Japan.
