In the series My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!, Yogiri Takatou, a high school student, wakes up in a parallel world, confronted by a terrifying dragon. He discovers that he and his classmate, Tomochika Dannoura, are the only ones left after their classmates receive special powers from a Sage named Zion and abandon them.
What no one knows is that Yogiri possesses an extraordinary and deadly ability: he can instantly kill anything he desires with a single thought. Despite this immeasurable power, this ability doesn't seem to help him return to his homeworld. So, accompanied by his faithful friend Tomochika, Yogiri explores this new world, looking for a way home.
As the story unfolds, the mystery surrounding Yogiri's true nature is revealed...
