Synopsis – I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class

Maehara Maki is a lonely high school student who has never managed to make friends. His daily life is turned upside down when he begins to spend his Fridays with Asanagi-san, a discreet but very popular classmate, whom the boys nickname "the second cutest girl in the class".

While she systematically declines invitations from her best friend Amami (the prettiest girl in the class), Asanagi prefers to go to Maki's house to share simple but precious moments: video games, movies, manga, pizzas and sodas in a relaxed atmosphere.

This atypical bond, hidden from others, becomes for them a unique and sincere bubble of complicity. Between laughter, awkwardness and small pleasures, their friendship could well evolve into something deeper.
