Majin Souzouden Wataru : Second Trailer

The second part of the Majin Souzouden Wataru anime is unveiled with a trailer.

The anime series Mashin Souzouden Wataru premiered on January 12, 2025 and has a total of 24 episodes in Japan. It is a new modern adaptation of the series Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru (Adrian the Savior of the World) released in 1988.

Synopsis – Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru (1988)

Wataru, an ordinary child, finds himself thrust into a magical realm called Soukaizan after his encounter with Ryujinmaru, a magical dragon. Soukaizan, a world in peril, is ruled by a demonic and evil ruler whom Wataru is destined to defeat.

Inspired by role-playing games (RPGs), Soukaizan is presented as a series of magical platforms superimposed, forming a floating pyramid. To take on the ultimate villain of the series, Wataru must complete missions and quests on each level of this cascading world. His journey includes confrontation with the evil master of each level and his many minions. Each level conquered restores the color of the magical, grayish rainbow that overlooks Soukaizan.

During his adventure to rescue Soukaizan, Wataru manages to bring a clay sculpture to life, transforming it into a small, super-powerful semi-autonomous robot. He befriends the inhabitants of Soukaizan who will become his comrades-in-arms during his quest.
