Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX: Teaser Video and Info!

The Gundam Conference Winter 2024 revealed that the famous Khara (Evangelion) and Sunrise (Gundam saga) studios are collaborating to produce the Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX (pronounced g-quax) anime. The series promises to mix intense action, underground competitions and human drama with a focus on themes such as resistance, survival and human relationships.

The anime series does not yet have a release date but a preview is scheduled for January 17, 2025 in some Japanese theaters under the name Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-. A video teaser has been unveiled. More information soon.

Synopsis – Gundam GQuuuuuuX

The story takes us to Amate Yuzuriha, a high school student living peacefully in a space colony. Her meeting with Nyaan, a war refugee, plunges her into the underground sport of mobile suit duels called "Clan Battle". Under the pseudonym "Machu", Amate throws himself into fierce battles, piloting the GQuuuuuuX.

Events take an unexpected turn when an unidentified Gundam, pursued by space forces and police, appears with its mysterious pilot, Shuji.
