Netflix's City Hunter Movie, Video Teaser

The Japanese live-action movie City Hunter directed by Yuichi Sato (Kichijoji Losers, The End of the Tiny World) is a modern adaptation of Tsukasa Hojo's City Hunter manga!

The live-action movie City Hunter (Nicky Larson) is scheduled for release on April 25, 2024 on Netflix.

Synopsis – City Hunter:

Ryo Saeba is a man in the shadows, a cleaner. Shadowing, close protection, sometimes murder, he accepts any job as long as the client is a pretty girl.

His partner, Hideyuki Makimura, is a former police officer. One day, Makimura is murdered by the Union Teope cartel. His sister, Kaori, decides to take over from her brother as a partner.

After avenging his friend's death, Ryo will strive to stop killing.

A new manga edition City Hunter XYZ Edition (12 volumes) by Tsukasa Hojo was released in July 2015 in Japan.

The spinoff titled Angel Heart debuted in 2001 with Shinchosha Publishing and has a total of 33 volumes in Japan.

Then a second season entitled Angel Heart – 2nd Season began in 2010 with Tokuma Shoten and has a total of 16 volumes.
