Ninja Kamui anime is coming in February 2024

TV channel Adult Swim has revealed that Sunghoo Park's Ninja Kamui anime (Jujutsu Kaisen, Jujutsu Kaisen 0) will begin airing on February 10, 2024!

The Ninja Kamui anime series debuts on February 10, 2024 in the USA. And a video game adaptation, Ninja Kamui: Shinobi Origins, is planned for this Spring 2024.

Ninja Kamui Anime Synopsis

In the Ninja Kamui anime, we follow the intense and dramatic story of Joe Higan, a Nukenin, a deserting ninja who fled his clan to live a quiet life in rural America with his family. A former member of a fearsome ninja organization, Joe tries to escape his violent past and the strict traditions of his clan. But the past has a nagging way of remembering itself.

One night, his past tragically catches up with him when he is ambushed by a team of assassins sent by his former organization. They execute a bloody revenge against Joe and his family for betraying their ancestral code. This brutal act pushes Joe to the brink of death, but he survives, reconnecting with his former identity: Ninja Kamui.

Resurrected from his "death," Kamui is determined to avenge his family and friends. Returning to his ninja roots, he transforms into a ruthless and calculating force. Kamui is a 21st-century ninja, a shadowy anomaly who pits his ancestral skills against high-tech weaponry with refined brutality. In his quest for revenge, he must face off against trained assassins, battle cyborgs, and rival ninjas, and ultimately, dismantle the very clan that created him.
