Nukitashi manga adapted into anime

Developer Qruppo and publisher Kadokawa have revealed the anime adaptation of its game Nukitashi!

The anime series is called Nukitashi The Animation. And a first teaser poster has been unveiled below. More information coming soon.

Synopsis of Nukitashi

Nukitashi offers a humorous and satirical adventure set on the island of Seiran. The story follows Junnosuke Tachibana and his sister Asane, returning to their home island after the death of their parents, where they are confronted with an extravagant local law. This law, the "Perverted Sex Law", forces locals to publicly engage in sexual acts with people of the opposite sex, turning the island into an erotic fling.

We follow the daily life of Junnosuke, a young man with a complex about childhood trauma, and his sister Asane, who only loves her brother, find themselves immersed in this chaotic world. They form a motley team with Nanase Katagiri, Hinami Watarai, and Misaki Hotori, to fight against the oppressive norms of the island.

Together, they search for a mysterious girl, the key to putting an end to the evil law.

Information about the visual novel and manga Nukitashi

The manga Nukitashi: Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Watashi wa Dou Surya Ii desu ka? by Qruppo & Mameojitan (drawings) debuted in 2020 at Beaglee Editions and currently has 5 volumes bound in Japan.

Qruppo's visual novel Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Watashi wa Dou Surya Ii Desu ka?? was released in 2018 for PC in Japan and internationally in 2023 under the name Nukitashi.

Although the story is mostly comedic, Nukitashi tackles themes of individual freedom and social critique, with characters denouncing imposed sexual norms. It's a story that depicts a struggle for the right to live one's sexuality at one's own pace in a world overly obsessed with sex.
