Tasokare Hotel mobile game adapted into anime

It is through Sugoi Lite that we learn about the anime adaptation of the mobile game Tasokare Hotel developed by SEEC!

Synopsis – Tasokare Hotel:

The Tasokare Hotel stands between life and death, welcoming spirits lost between the two worlds, helping its occupants recover their memories so they can return to their rightful place.

When a person suddenly finds himself in a life-or-death situation, he loses his memory and wakes up in this in-between realm, guided to the Tasokare Hotel. There, the hotel manager checks them in and assigns them a concierge to assist them in retrieving their lost memories. Once their memories are regained, guests can leave the hotel and return to the real world or pass on to the afterlife, depending on whether or not they survived their ordeal.

Oddly enough, all guests forget about their stay at the hotel after they leave, although there is a one in 50,000 chance that a guest will remember everything.

Neko Tsukahara, a young girl who wakes up alone in an empty horizon, suddenly discovers this imposing hotel after being mysteriously stabbed. Unsure whether she is alive or dead, she is guided to this singular hotel that welcomes spirits in suspense, offering them a chance to settle their affairs before moving on to their final destiny, whether it be the return to life or the afterlife.

Neko, finding herself an employee of this particular establishment, is given the mission of restoring her customers' lost memories in order to help them complete their passage. As she navigates through the secrets of the Tasokare Hotel, she gradually uncovers the mysteries surrounding her own past and the dark circumstances of her arrival.

TASOKARE HOTEL is a mystery game developed by SEEC and released for Mobile (iOS & Android) in 2017 in Japan. In 2019, the game TASOKARE HOTEL was released in English.

And in December 2022, the TASOKARE HOTEL remake Re:newal was released on Mobile and STEAM featuring HD graphics, new images, new music and the story of an additional character.

In 2024, the sequel to the Tasokare Hotel game has been announced by publisher SEEC.
