Rentarou Aijou, endowed with an attractive appearance, intelligence, athletic skills and undeniable popularity, seems to have everything going for him, except in the field of love. After suffering his hundredth romantic disappointment on his graduation from college, Rentarou travels to a shrine to desperately wish to find love in high school.

It is then that the god of the sanctuary appears to him, promising Rentarou not one, but a hundred kindred spirits during his high school years. Unconvinced at first, Rentarou changes his mind when on the first day, he meets two of his kindred spirits, Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda, who each confess their feelings to him.

Immersed in a whirlwind of predetermined encounters and declarations of love, Rentalous' life is about to become extraordinarily tumultuous and romantic.
