Synopsis of the anime movie OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom
The film Overlord Movie: Sei Oukoku-hen The Sacred Kingdom, at the center of the story, is a country that has long enjoyed a fragile peace, protected by a colossal wall built after a historical tragedy.
However, this peace is threatened when the fearsome demon Jaldabaoth shows up with a united army of monstrous tribes. Faced with this invading force, the leaders of the Sacred Kingdom realize that their defenses are not sufficient to repel the enemy.
In an act of desperation, with the very existence of their country at stake, godly leaders are forced to seek help wherever they can, even if it means breaking a taboo and negotiating with the undead king of the Dark Nation.
