Synopsis – A Condition Called Love:

Hotaru Hinase, a freshman in high school, puts her family and friends above all else. Not very receptive to love, she is determined to live without ever knowing the pangs and joys of amorous passion.

One day, while spending time in a café with a close friend, Hotaru witnesses the ruthless breakup of an exemplary and attractive student, Hananoi. Later, on the way home, she finds him alone in the snow and, in a burst of compassion, offers to share his umbrella with him.

To his surprise, the next day, Hananoi shows up at his class to ask him to become his girlfriend. Although she rejects him, Hananoi is not discouraged and stays by his side, multiplying altruistic gestures to seduce her. Hotaru then begins to feel new emotions. Convinced that these feelings could turn into love, she finally agrees to date Hananoi.
