The anime Mato Seihei no Slave, in Teaser Video

The official website has unveiled the animation staff and teaser video of the anime Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier, Demon Slave)!

The anime series (12 episodes) debuts on January 4, 2024 in Japan. More information coming soon.

Synopsis:

The demon-filled dimension known as Mato has opened up to threaten humanity, and a kind of "peach" tree growing there produces fruits that grant special powers to the women who eat them, giving humanity a fighting chance. Subsequently, as protectors of humanity, these women rise in social status, while men are relegated to the status of second-class citizens, content with basic occupation and recognition.

This is the case of Yuki Wakura, a senior high school student whose sister was kidnapped at a Mato event 5 years ago. One day, he is rescued from demons by Captain Kyouka Uzen of the Anti-Demon unit. She grants him powers as a slave that transform him into a powerful beastly mount.

However, there is a surprising price to pay for being his "slave"...
