Synopsis – The Barbarian's Bride
Serafina de Lavillant, the most powerful knight in the western kingdom, is sent on a mission to subdue the barbarian tribes of the East. Armed with her unmatched courage and skills, she prepares for a decisive confrontation. However, the mission quickly turns into a fiasco, and Serafina finds herself captured by the tribes she was supposed to defeat.
Plunged into a hell of despair and shame, Serafina fears the torture to which she could be subjected. Desperate, she asks to be executed rather than suffer unimaginable suffering. To her surprise, the tribal chief responds not with violence, but with a surprising request: he wants to marry her.
Faced with this unprecedented proposal, Serafina is confronted with a confusing reality. Far from the image of brutality and cruelty she had imagined, life among these tribes may well reveal an unsuspected dimension of their culture.
