The ATRI: My Dear Moments anime, in teaser video

Aniplex has revealed the anime adaptation of the visual novel ATRI: My Dear Moments!

The anime series ATRI: My Dear Moments is scheduled for release in July 2024 in Japan.

Synopsis – ATRI: My Dear Moments:

Ikaruga Natsuki, a young boy who lost his mother and right leg in an accident a few years ago, returns disillusioned from his difficult life in the big city to find his old country house half-swallowed by the sea. With no family, all he owns is a boat and a submarine bequeathed to him by his oceanologist grandmother, as well as his debts.

His only chance to restore the dreams of the future he has lost is to seize an opportunity presented by Catherine, a suspicious debt collector. Together, they set out to sea to search for the submerged ruins of her grandmother's laboratory in order to find a treasure that she is rumored to have left behind.

What they discover is neither riches nor jewels, but a strange girl asleep in a coffin at the bottom of the sea: Atri. Atri is a robot, but her appearance and the richness of her emotions could fool anyone into thinking she is a living, breathing human being. In gratitude for being saved, she makes a statement to Natsuki, "I want to fulfill my mistress's last command. Until I do, I'll be your leg! »

In a small town slowly enveloped by the ocean, an unforgettable summer is about to begin for this mysterious robot boy and girl.
