The Baki-Dou manga adapted into an anime

TMS Entertainment has announced the anime adaptation of ITAGAKI Keisuke's manga BAKI-DOU!

The release date has not yet been revealed. The Baki-Dou anime series will be the sequel to the Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre anime. More information coming soon.

Synopsis – Baki-Dou:

Baki Hanma's quest to surpass his father and become the ultimate fighter has left him plagued by boredom. Despite his relentless training and fighting in the underground arena, nothing seems to be able to stimulate him anymore. But Baki's boredom is interrupted by a daring project: the resurrection of Miyamoto Musashi, one of the iconic figures of Japanese martial arts, through the science of cloning.

The initiative, supported by the Prime Minister of Japan, aims to bring the legendary samurai back to life. For Baki, this means a golden opportunity to test his skills against a historical icon, in a fight that promises to go down in history.

As the tension mounts and Musashi's clone prepares for the showdown, Baki finds himself facing a showdown of historic proportions, a duel that could well be the ultimate challenge of his career.
