The official website has revealed the production of The Elusive Samurai Season 2 anime (Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi Season 2).

Synopsis – The Elusive Samurai:

In the middle of medieval Japan, 8-year-old Hojo Tokiyuki is the heir to the Kamakura shogunate. But the Hojo clan's power crumbles, and Tokiyuki's carefree days of playing hide-and-seek with his teachers come to an abrupt end when his clan is betrayed from within. The sole survivor of his family, Hojo Tokiyuki is the rightful heir to the throne, but to reclaim it, he must do what he does best: hide and flee!

After his family was massacred by the traitor Ashikaga Takauji, Tokiyuki escaped with the help of a handful of loyal servants who also survived the purge. Among them is Suwa Yorishige, an ally of the Hojo clan and lord of Suwa Province. The slightly eccentric Yorishige also claims to be clairvoyant and predicts that Tokiyuki will one day become the ruler of Japan. But for now, the priority is to escape enemy territory!
