The Grendizer U anime, in Trailer

The Gaina studio has revealed the trailer of the anime Grendizer U directed by Shun Kudo (Kimi dake ni Motetainda)!

The Grendizer U anime series is scheduled for release in July 2024. It is a reboot of the famous Goldorak (Grendizer) series released in 1975 in Japan.

Genre: Shonen, Action/Slice, Mecha/S-F

Synopsis – Grendizer U:

We follow the epic story of Duke Fleed, the sole survivor of the planet Fleed, who finds refuge on Earth aboard a mysterious spaceship. Adopted by Dr. Umon, he takes on the earthly identity of Daisuke Umon.

Years after his arrival, the threat of King Vega and his army looms over Earth, eager to conquer the blue planet.

Armed with his unwavering will and supported by his friends Koji, Hikaru and his younger sister Maria Grace, Duke decides to fight back with his most powerful weapon: the legendary Grendizer robot.
