Synopsis of the manga Honey Lemon Soda:

Uka Ishimori, 15, had a very difficult experience in middle school. Nicknamed "Rocky" because she always froze in front of others, she was constantly persecuted.

Now in high school, she has the opportunity to start from scratch and get better. But during her first week, she is accidentally doused in juice by her classmate Kai Miura, a flamboyant boy with lemon-colored hair. On paper, Kai is everything Uka lacks: he's popular, aloof, and bold enough to speak his mind.

Despite their contrasting personalities, Kai encourages him to gradually come out of his shell, offering him help where others were hesitant to do so. Although Uka initially wanted to make friends, she realizes her true feelings: she has fallen in love with Kai. What started with a lemon soda is about to change Uka and Kai's lives forever.
