The IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors immerses viewers in the bubbly and competitive world of Japanese music show business. The story follows Mano Sakuragi, a dreamy and ambitious young girl who, after a chance meeting with the Producer of 283 Production, decides to join this burgeoning talent agency.

Mano Sakuragi soon finds herself surrounded by two other budding idols, Hiori Kazano and Meguru Hachimiya. Together, they form the group illumination STARS, and embark on the exciting and demanding journey of becoming idols. Each member of the group brings their own dreams, talents and personal challenges, creating a unique and exciting dynamic.

At 283 Production, girls learn the importance of teamwork, perseverance and authenticity in the often unforgiving world of entertainment. They must navigate through the rigors of training, stage performances, interactions with fans, and rivalries with other idols and bands.
