Synopsis of the manga Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri:

Although he doesn't have the skills required for his role in the Metropolitan Police Department's team of investigators, Totomaru Isshiki wants to solve murders and help people. Following the advice of one of his elders, he ventured to seek the help of the loner Ron Kamonohashi.

5 years ago, Ron was the most promising detective of the illustrious Detective Training Academy Blue, but for reasons unknown to the public, he sank into obscurity.

Totomaru expects to find a well-dressed and poised man, but what he gets is an eccentric with messy, uninhibited hair. But when one of the serial murders comes his way, Ron is back on duty.

The real reason Ron withdrew from the world of detectives wasn't a lack of desire, but rather something out of his control and Totomaru might just be the key to his return to his former calling.

The kind-hearted officer and the cynical detective tackle every mystery that comes their way.
