Publisher Shinchosha has unveiled a first teaser poster of the Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai (Kaya-chan isn't Scary) anime.

Synopsis – Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai:

We follow the daily life of young Kaya Satou, a kindergarten student with unusual behavior, and her teacher, Chie Hasumi. Kaya, often involved in quarrels and fights with her peers, is seen as a constant disruptor. Faced with these daily challenges, Chie-sensei is tasked with carefully monitoring Kaya during school hours.

However, Kaya's reality is very different from what everyone thinks. Chie-sensei discovers one day that Kaya is able to perceive the supernatural. The child is actually trying to protect his classmates from invisible supernatural threats to others.

Through this series, we explore the unique interactions between Kaya, a brave child facing a frightening invisible world, and Chie-sensei, a teacher who is learning to understand and support her exceptional student.
