Publisher Square Enix has announced the anime adaptation of Matsuura's light novel Chichi wa Eiyuu Haha wa Seirei Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha (Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits)!

Synopsis of Chichi wa Eiyuu Haha wa Seirei Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha

We follow the story of Ellen, a scientist of the modern world who is reincarnated in the body of an 8-year-old girl with mixed blood of spirit and human. Endowed with a unique power over the elements, far from the traditional mastery of the four elements, Ellen possesses the ability to transform her environment by manipulating the elements of the periodic table (represents all chemical elements). His in-depth scientific knowledge, inherited from his past life as a scientist, gives him an added advantage.

Rovel Vankrieft, the hero of the Tenbahl Kingdom and father of Ellen, suffers serious injuries during a war against a neighboring kingdom. To save him, Lady Origin, the fighting spirit by his side and also Queen of the Spirit Kingdom, takes him to her kingdom. Lady Origin, who is also Ellen's mother, is one of the most powerful spirits in existence, giving little Ellen a power that contrasts with her innocent appearance.

Thus we follow the adventures of this unusual family, each of its members having their own eccentricity. Despite their obvious happiness, the family faces considerable challenges. Ellen and her parents are forced to reconnect with the Vankreift family to defend the honor of their loved ones. All of this must be done while hiding Ellen's dangerous existence from the public, in order to preserve their quiet happiness.
