Publisher Hobby Japan has revealed the anime adaptation of the light novel Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san (Welcome to Japan Ms. Elf!) by Makishima Suzuki (script) & AONO Shimo (art)!

Synopsis of the manga Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san (Welcome to Japan Ms. Elf!)

The manga Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san (Welcome to Japan Ms. Elf!) takes us into the daily life of Kazuhiro Kitase, a young man whose favorite pastime is sleeping, not out of laziness, but because he possesses a unique ability: when he dreams, he enters another world. In this dreamlike world, he becomes an adventurer and has formed a friendship with an elf named Marie. Kazuhiro has the ability to carry anything he places next to his pillow into this alternate world, but he has never attempted to do the opposite.

One fateful day, while exploring with Marie, they are killed by a dragon! When Kazuhiro dies in this fantasy world, he still wakes up unscathed in Japan, but this time, holding Mary at the moment of their death, she is transported with him to Japan!

With this curious companion by his side, Kazuhiro sets out to introduce her to Japan and the wonders it has to offer.
