The manga Between the Lines adapted into an anime

It is through Sugoi Lite that we learn about the anime adaptation of the manga Between the Lines (Ikoku Nikki: Journal with Witch) by Yamashita Tomoko!

Synopsis – Ikoku Nikki (Between the Lines):

At the age of 15, Asa lost his parents in a car accident. She is taken in by her aunt Makio, 35, her mother's younger sister. Makio is an author of novels for teenage girls, but she lives more of a recluse because she is not comfortable in society.

Asa's arrival will turn the lives of the two women upside down. Asa suddenly discovers the world outside her family cocoon and is not used to someone like her aunt, who speaks to her so frankly, though often awkwardly. Makio, on the other hand, is not familiar with living with someone who needs to be shown the way.

Each one will have to work on herself. One to mourn the loss of her parents who died too suddenly and to open up to the world. The other to accept the presence of another person in one's daily life and to deepen the question of the meaning of family, the bonds it induces and the feelings that are attached to it.
