The publisher Hakusensha has just announced the anime adaptation of the manga Kikaijikake no Marie (Mechanical Marie) by Aki Akimoto, a series that mixes comedy, martial arts and romance.

Synopsis – Kikaijikake no Marie

Arthur Louis Zetes, rich, handsome and successful, is well aware of people's greed. Suspicious and having lost all faith in humanity, he expresses the desire to have the perfect maid: a robot cleaning lady. However, faced with technological limitations, his butler presents him with the best possible alternative.

Marie Evans, a former martial arts prodigy known for her lack of feeling and crushed by debt, agrees to become a cleaning lady acting like a robot. If Arthur is often abrupt with humans, he is surprisingly attentive to the one he considers his personal robot.
