Synopsis of the Promise of Wizard series:

On a full moon night stirred by strong winds where cats make noise, Maki Akira, who was leading an ordinary life, found herself in a world where wizards and humans coexist.

In this world of five nations, a huge moon called the Great Calamity strikes once a year.
As an otherworldly Sage, Akira is summoned to lead The Sage Sorcerers who are fighting and repelling this moon.

The previous year, tragedy had befallen the sorcerers: half of them had perished in the battle against the Great Calamity. They must now rely on the new Sage that is Maki Akira and the mysterious powers that only the Sage possesses to help them in the next battle.
