Synopsis of the Revenger anime:

As master assassin Usui Yuen of the Revenger organization investigates a series of assassinations against the great samurai clan, Satsuma, he meets Kurima Raizo, a survivor of one of the attacks.

Raizo joins the Revenger organization, which takes revenge on behalf of those who have no power.

Among his colleagues are a doctor with destructive impulses, an androgynous young man who is both cruel and innocent, a gambler who loves money and alcohol, and a particularly intelligent craftsman.

Together, they discover that the true nature of these murders goes beyond the theft of resources. As they get closer to the truth, will they make it out alive to get revenge?
