The Rooster Fighter manga adapted into a manga

Publisher Shogakukan has announced the anime adaptation of Shu Sakuratani's manga Rooster Fighter!

Synopsis – Rooster Fighter:

The story plunges us into a post-apocalyptic Japan, devastated by the kijû, fearsome giant monsters that sow chaos and terror among humans. These ruthless creatures leave the human population helpless, each day becoming a desperate struggle for survival, in the constant shadow of these bloodthirsty beasts.

In the midst of this chaos, an unlikely figure emerges as the last bastion of courage and defiance: a rooster. This feathered hero, with unwavering determination and a cry that sounds like a call to battle, rises alone against monsters to protect what is left of humanity.

But his quest is also personal; he seeks to avenge a heartbreaking loss, that of the apple of his eye, taken away by these evil creatures.
