The Sailor Zombie manga adapted into anime

Publisher Shogakukan has announced the anime adaptation of the manga Sailor Zombie by INUDOU Isshin (writer) and Jiji & Pinch (art)!

It is an animated series. The release date has not yet been revealed. More information soon.

Synopsis – Sailor Zombie

Two months after the start of a zombie outbreak, life goes on strangely for three high school girls in uniforms who lead ordinary school lives despite the surrounding chaos.

Maiko, a new transfer student, aspires to become an idol. Despite the various incidents she faces, she forms a deep friendship with Momoka and Mutsumi. However, their daily lives are turned upside down when zombies attack people. Strangely, when a particular music emanates from the radio, the zombies stop their assaults and start dancing. This music seems to protect humans, but no one can locate the source of this miraculous melody.

From then on, Maiko, Momoka and Mutsumi regularly find themselves threatened by zombies. Together, they will have to navigate a world where danger is constantly lurking, while trying to understand the mystery of the music that protects them.
