Synopsis of the Ace of the Diamond Act II series:

Koshien Stadium, the sacred shrine of Japanese high school baseball, is the "field of dreams" where the ambitions of young baseball players are realized.

After winning the previous year's fall tournament, the Seidou High School baseball team finally earned the right to compete in Koshien for the first time in seven years. Beyond the spring tournament looms the battle to decide which team is the best in the country during the summer Koshien.

With the imminent departure of third-year players after the summer tournament, the team must integrate the experience of the seniors and the potential of the newcomers to overcome opponents, old and new, and win the coveted national title.

Meanwhile, pitcher Eijun Sawamura is more determined than ever to get the No. 1 jersey and take the "ace" position from his persistent rival, Satoru Furuya. As the team prepares for their biggest challenge yet, Sawamura and Furuya continue their fight to lead their team to glory and become the star of the game: the real Ace of the Diamond.
