The Korean drama Parasyte: The Grey directed by Yeon Sang-Ho (Jung_E, Hellbound, Peninsula) is an original story inspired by the excellent manga Parasyte!

The live-action series Parasyte: The Grey premieres on April 5, 2024 on Netflix.

Synopsis – The Parasyte Grey:
In The Parasyte Grey, the world is turned upside down when strange parasites fall from the sky. These creatures infiltrate humans, taking control of their host while killing others. They begin to form a menacing force, pushing humanity to fight to stop these invaders from dominating the world.
Jung Su-In (played by Jeon So-Nee) is infected by a parasite, but strangely, it fails to control her brain. From then on, Jung Su-In and the parasite are forced to coexist.
Meanwhile, Seol Gang-Woo (played by Koo Gyo-Hwan) hunts down parasites in hopes of finding his missing sister.
Choi Joon-Kyung (played by Lee Jung-Hyun) is the head of the special task force against parasites. Having lost her husband to these creatures, she is driven by a fierce desire to eradicate this threat.
