Synopsis – Sword of the Demon Hunter
Over the generations, in the mountainous village of Kadono, a shrine has sprung up, housing an Itsukihime, the shrine's priestess, and each priestess has had her guardian. During the Edo period, a young man named Jinta protects the village and the Itsukihime. When he confronts a strange demon in the forest, the demon reveals that in the future, a Demon God will threaten all peoples, everywhere, and claims that the ascension of this Demon God originated at that time and in this very place, in the village of Kadono.
This encounter plunges Jinta into a journey through time, constantly confronting him with crucial questions: What does it mean to wield a sword? What does it mean to be a demon or to be human?
Thus begins the journey through the centuries of a man scarred by demons, seeking justice for what he has lost.
