The anime series Yowai 5000-nen no Soushoku Dragon (12 episodes) debuts on January 6, 2023 in Japan. The Chinese studio LAN Studio is in charge of the project.

synopsis:

The story follows a harmless vegetarian dragon. One day, a young girl appears in front of him. She comes from the village with the idea of offering herself as a sacrifice, all thinking him to be an evil creature. She is convinced that in exchange for her soul, she will become strong enough to defeat the Demon Lord.

The dragon lies to her in order to get rid of her, but somehow this misunderstanding creates magic in her. Thus begins the story of a dragon reputed to be evil but in reality harmless; and a little girl who believes there is a misunderstanding; who set out together to slay the master of evil.
