After a good Arknights: Prelude to Dawn anime, the official website has revealed the production of the Arknights: Perish in Frost anime!

The animated series Arknights: Perish in Frost (8 episodes) is scheduled for October 2023 in Japan and it is still the studio Yostar Pictures (Arknights: Prelude to Dawn, Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin!) that is in charge of the project.

In the Arknights: Perish in Frost series, humanity grapples with Oripathia, an incurable disease that slowly crystallizes the bodies of the infected until they die. Rhode Island, a pharmaceutical company, is working to find a cure for this disease and solve the problems it causes. In an effort to put an end to the revolt of the terrorist organization known as the Reunion Movement, whose ultimate goal is the salvation of the Infected, Rhode Island has formed a contract with the Yanese city of Lungmen and continues its mission there.

However, Amiya, the ruler of Rhode Island, has been thrown into disarray since their battle against Skullshatterer, unable to accept the fact that they failed to save Misha. Meanwhile, Rhode Island deploys a recon squad to an abandoned town discovered in the Lungmen countryside. There, the squad witnesses a strange phenomenon unfolding before their eyes...
