Kaiju Anime N°8, in video announcement

The anime series Kaiju No.8 (12 episodes) premieres on April 13, 2024 in Japan. The project is in charge of the project by Production IG (B The Beginning, Haikyu saga!, Fate/Grand Order Camelot: Paladin Agateram). The khara studio (Evangelion saga) oversees the design of the Kaiju. More information coming soon.

Synopsis of the manga Kaiju N°8:

As a child, Kafka Hibino dreamed of joining the Defence Forces to fight these terrible enemies, but after many failures in the entrance exam, this thirty-year-old works to clean the streets of their cumbersome corpses.

One day, a mysterious creature intrudes into his body and transforms him into a super-powerful half-human, half-kaiju entity. His new codename: Kaiju No. 8.
