The manga Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run by Hirohiko Araki is going to be adapted into an anime!

The animated series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run will continue to be produced by David Production (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure saga, Urusei Yatsura, Fire Force). The release date has not yet been revealed. More information coming soon.

Synopsis – Steel Ball Run:

Steel Ball Run is the seventh installment in the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure series, set in a new narrative context. Set in America in 1890, this arc follows Johnny Joestar, a paraplegic jockey, and his mentor Gyro Zeppeli, in a cross-country horse race from San Diego to New York, with a prize of $50 million at stake.

By learning the mysterious Spin technique from Gyro, Johnny Joestar also develops a Stand ability. Along the way, they discover the true sinister nature of the Steel Ball Run, orchestrated by U.S. President Funny Valentine to gather the relics of the body of Jesus Christ to assert U.S. global supremacy.
