They are brilliant. He's not. But sometimes it's kindness that melts the coldest hearts. The anime Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai Choroi (English: The Three Mikadono Sisters Are Surprisingly Easy) has a trailer that is as tender as it is funny.

The Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai Choroi anime series is scheduled for July 2025. Director Tadahito Matsubayashi (Magical Girl Site) is in charge of the project at the P.A. Works studio (Fairy gone, IRODUKU).

Synopsis – Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai Choroi

Yuu, son of the legendary actress Subaru Ayase, who recently passed away, finds himself in the spotlight after transferring to Saika Academy, a prestigious school where students hone their personal talents. Unlike his mother, however, Yuu discovers that he has no particular talent. Perceived as mediocre, he seems to have no chance of competing with the three emperors of the Saika Academy: the Mikadono sisters; Miwa, Niko, and Kazuki, each a prodigy in the fields of shogi, martial arts, and performing arts, respectively.

A friend of the late Subaru Ayase agrees to take his son under his wing, and Yuu sets out to fulfill his mother's last wish: to build a happy family, something they had never been able to do because of their differences in talent. What Yuu doesn't know is that his mother's friend is none other than the father of the Mikadono sisters!

Keeping in mind her mother's wishes, Yuu seeks to establish family ties with the sisters. However, due to their extreme focus on their respective specializations, they show little interest in opening up, either to him or to each other. Despite this, Yuu persists and continually supports the three prodigies. Her kindness and attention gradually re-establish the bonds between the sisters.
