Natsume Yujin-cho Shichi Anime Announced

The Natsume Yujin-cho anime returns with a seventh season titled Natsume Yujin-cho Shichi (Natsume's Book of Friends Season 7, Natsume Yuujinchou Season 7)!

The anime series Natsume Yujin-cho Shichi is scheduled for release in October 2024 in Japan.

Synopsis saga Natsume Yujin-cho:

Takashi Natsume is a teenager who possesses the unusual ability to see spirits, a gift inherited from his late grandmother. The latter, too, had the ability to see spirits and had spent her time making pacts with them, forcing them to obey her whims. After his death, Takashi inherited his Book of Friends, a collection containing the names of the spirits with whom Reiko had formed pacts. The spirits are now after him, desiring either to reclaim their name or to use Takashi's powers to their advantage.

Accompanied by Madara, a powerful spirit who comes in the form of a lucky cat named Nyanko-sensei, Takashi strives to free the spirits from their contracts while trying to understand more about his grandmother and his own ability to see supernatural beings. Throughout his journey, he discovers the true meaning of friendship and family, while helping spirits find peace.
