Synopsis – The Rose of Versailles:

The story takes place at the end of the 18th century in France. Oscar François de Jarjayes is a young woman raised as a boy by a father who is fed up with having only daughters. Oscar's military education allowed him to become the captain of the royal guard, in charge of protecting the young dauphine Marie-Antoinette.

Alongside Oscar, there is André, her childhood friend, secretly in love with her. Together, they had to face the first troubles heralding the French Revolution
