Synopsis – ATRI: My Dear Moments:

Ikaruga Natsuki, a young boy who lost his mother and right leg in an accident a few years ago, returns disillusioned from his difficult life in the big city to find his old country home half swallowed up by the sea. With no family, all he owns is a boat and a submarine bequeathed by his grandmother, an oceanologist, as well as his debts.

His only chance to restore the dreams of the future he has lost is to seize an opportunity presented by Catherine, a suspicious debt collector. Together, they set out to sea to search for the submerged ruins of her grandmother's laboratory in order to find a treasure that rumor has it that she left there.

What they discover is neither riches nor jewels, but a strange girl asleep in a coffin at the bottom of the sea: Atri. Atri is a robot, but her appearance and the richness of her emotions could trick anyone into thinking she is a living, breathing human being. In gratitude for being saved, she makes a statement to Natsuki: "I want to fulfill my mistress's last order. Until I do, I'll be your leg! »

In a small town slowly enveloped by the ocean, an unforgettable summer is about to begin for this mysterious robot boy and girl.
