The manga Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi adapted into an anime

Publisher Shogakukan has announced the anime adaptation of Nujima's manga Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi (Mysterious Disappearances)!

The anime series Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi (12 episodes) is scheduled for release in April 2024 in Japan. More information coming soon.

Synopsis of the manga Kaii to Otome to Kamikakushi:

Mysterious incidents occur in one city, one after the other. A demonic being is challenged to solve them.

Sumireko, who appears to be a simple store clerk, aspires to become a novelist and sports an attractive body with ardent admirers.

Adashino, an admirer who looks like a boy, is a bookstore clerk. At first, he is shrouded in mystery, until the path of the challenges he and his sister must face in the city in order to earn their ticket back home, out of this world, is revealed.

A story set against a backdrop of modern mysteries and romantic aspirations begins.
